Ronan Turns Three!

My baby is 3.  How did this happen?  I am having some serious problems coping with how quickly this little man is growing up.  The good news?  He becomes more and more awesome with the passage of time.  He is funny, sweet (mostly), smart, and stubborn (very).  Some favorite recent Ronan moments:

Trying to make a left turn out of a parking lot.  Me: "We are never gonna get out of here."  Ronan: "Chill out, mom.  We'll get out."

Trying to find his favorite popsicles at the store with Papa.  Papa: "Looks like they are out of Firecrackers."  Ronan: "Bummer."

After measuring his feet in the shoe department. Me: "How big are they?"  Ronan: "Too Big and a half."

Alicia asking Ronan what her name is:  "Uncle Mike....Baaahahahahah."

When Sophia was crying: "Aunt Alicia, I think your baby pooped her pants."

After Alicia and Josh left our house after a visit.  "Why did Aunt Alicia and Mike Agreisti have to leave?" and "Why did Mike Agreisti take a nap on our couch?"  Mike Agreisti is our realtor, and I have no idea how Ronan knows his name.  This was actually an upgrade for Josh, as most of the day Ronan was calling him "that guy."

Here a some pictures of the birthday weekend.  As all grandparents were out of town, the official party isn't for a couple of weeks.  We went to the Erie Children's Museum and did presents and cake at home.

Learning about magnets

Looking for shells

Kevin buying a juicy steak

We'll probably need a wheel of cheese

Making the trains go

Peeking

This guy had a good time, too.

Hanging with dad

Ready for the birthday boy!

He was slightly confused

And excited

He was supposed to bust through...he chose to go under.

Castle!  Not sure who likes it more...Kevin or Ronan.

Hunting for presents

Scooter!

Umi Zoomi Cake.  Yes, that's my sweet artwork.

Three!

So cute handsome.

Blowing out the candles...for the third time.

Treasure hunt in the forest. We found an arrowhead!

And a dinosaur egg!

Complete with dino inside.  Love this dude.

Let's have a little look back....

A first look

I have always loved this picture.  He looks as unsure of me as I was of him.  I used to think the caption was "So, I'm stuck with this lady."  Now I know it is "Lady, you have no idea what I am capable of."

Funny that he is yawning as he didn't sleep for the 1st year of life.

Remember those legs?

Gotta love Halloween

Love

1 year!

2 years!

I am sure he is telling this goat a killer joke.

Best big brother...ever!

Crazy hair, crazy smile....that's my guy.
