The boys have both been keeping us busy lately. Ronan seems to be transitioning from "toddler" to "kid" and is most happy when jumping on something, throwing something, or destroying something. He is so much fun to hang out and keeps us laughing (and on our toes!) Simon is chill and mostly goes with the flow. If I had to guess, I would say he will be a little more serious than Ronan. I call them "bizarro brothers" because so far they seem very different. I guess time will tell. Simon is sleeping well at night but doesn't want to miss a thing during the day. I can't blame him with an entertaining big brother like Ronan. Some of my favorite recent "Ronanisms":
After I told him I had to put the registration sticker on the car, "Good luck with your mission, Mama."
Carrying Simon and his carseat into the house, "That is quite a heavy load you have there."
"Hey Dadda, Let's go play outside. I want a bird to poop on your head." (My personal favorite)
While playing pretend campout, "Mama, I'm getting things ready for our campout. You can pick up dog poop while Dad and I get the campfire ready."
Holding up my bra, "Dadda, Is this for your nipples or Mama's nipples?"
Ronan: "Papa, can I have more candy?" Nora: "You've had plenty of candy already." Ronan (very serious, with scowl on face) "I was asking Papa."
We also have an imaginary monster friend. His name is Dootie Dottie. He is red. He is nice. He gets sticky sometimes. He is teensy and can bathe in the sink. He loves candy.

Ronan's new favorite activity: couch diving (preferably naked, of course)
Baking soda and colored vinegar = hours of fun. Thanks Pinterest!
"I want to sit next to Simon, and I want to read to he."
