Rocks, Mullet hats, and Hot Dog

What is harder than leaving the beautiful beaches of Florida?  Coming home to dreary, cold Ohio.  Blah.  We all had a blast.  Ronan was so much fun and loved playing on the beach, swimming, and most of all, throwing rocks into the water.  Turns out we probably could have just stayed home and let him throw rocks into the pond.  We were in Fort Myers for 4 days and then met up with my parents "Papa" and "Jaja" (which Ronan pronounces Zsa Zsa, very glam) and their friends Ed and Sue in Marco Island.  He was also allowed to bring a friend and he chose "Hot Dog" (his Mickey Mouse Doll from JuJu and Boppy, and his new obsession).  Here are some pictures.  Beleive it or not, I did edit...

Favorite activity: Throwing rocks/shells into the water

Taking a raisin break with dad

Every kid needs a bucket

Hope we remembered to put sunscreen on those ears

"I'll show you what happens to parents who rest"

Remember the mullet hat from our vacation last summer?  Rest easy folks, it still fits.

That's the money shot

A quick Daiquari break

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

"So I hear there's green beer?"

Bike rides can take a lot out of you.

"I bet with my net I can get those things yet"

"Don't mess with me"

What's not to love about the beach

The Fam

"Some people say that there's a woman to blame but I know it's Hot Dog's fault"

As seen here, Ronan now says "cheese pizza" when taking a picture.   Coincidentally, he had just eaten some cheese pizza.

Chillaxin' with Jaja

Ronan picked out Papa's birthday present this year.  Perfect for a relaxing evening at home....or a nice trip to Cedar Point.

Yes, they went to dinner dressed like this.  Yes, they got many phone numbers that night.

Gator hunting

Found One!  We actually found many.

Fan Boat ride

This is where I make my kid pose for photos.

This is what could happen if your kid puts his had through the fence.  Don't worry, I said "Ronan, don't put your hand through the fence."

Watching the boats go out at sunrise.  Ronan didn't sleep in quite as late as I would have liked while in Florida.

Throwing rocks at the marina at sunrise

Running to meet up with his pal Papa

Say "Cheese Pizza"

We were at the zoo.  Ronan and Papa were in a corner putting rocks in a cone.  Figures.

One last stroll with Jaja and Papa.
