Latest Adventures...and Misadventures

I've been falling a bit behind on the blog, so I am catching up tonight (with 3 new posts).  We have had some fun adventures in the past few weeks, welcomed a new member of the family, and had one bummer of a day.

Chipmunk cheeks...little man loves to stuff his mouth as full as he can get it.

Giving the dog one of his famous open-mouthed kisses

An innocent trip to see dad at work turns into a child labor nightmare

"Hey Jama!  I'm over here!"

Gramps giving him a good push

Our friends Tyler and Emmy met us at the park on their way through Columbus.  Then we dropped of the kiddies before heading to a grown-up dinner.  Here are the proud papas.

Ronan and Kevin heading back from the North Market Farmer's Market

Hiking at High Banks Park.  Ronan loves his new backpack carrier and was happy as a clam looking at all the trees and sights.

Artie had fun too!

On Monday, Ronan seemed to have a little cold.  By Tuesday morning, he was having trouble breathing and had to be taken to Children's Hospital Urgent Care.  His oxygen levels were low and he had to have 2 breathing treatments and a chest xray (neither of which he, or I, cared for).  Turns out he had Bronchiolitis. His Dr. says that his wheezing is a strong indicator that he may have childhood asthma, especially since he was wheezy the one other time he got sick.  Not a surprise since Kevin had bad asthma as a kid, but we were hoping he'd side-step that one.  Now he has an inhaler (a nerd at just a year old) and has been on a steroid for a week (he wants to pump YOU up! Ha, ha).  Here are his sad, sick boy pictures.

They gave us a gown after he threw up on his shirt (and in the elephant mask)

Tuckered out from all the coughing and vomiting

No worries though...he's feeling better already!

  1. Hi Ronan,

This is Ethan. I probably got you sick and I'm so sorry. It was nice seeing you a couple weeks ago. See ya Buddy!
