Kevin turns 32 tomorrow, so we celebrated in style this weekend with a nice walk by the river and a trip to the zoo. We also tried the slide at the park for the first time (wih a little help from mom). He actually seemed pretty bored by the slide...I guess he's a swing man.
Katelyn's fiance, Pat, has a childproofing company. She told me to take a picture of Ronan doing something dangerous for his website. The next day I walked in on this little gem...I think it qualifies. That is the cord from his baby monitor...you know, because we want to make sure he is safe in his crib.
This he does all the time. Grab the cord...
Now see if you can get it around your neck.
Topless
Baby gut
Standing strong
Starting to lose it
And we're down!
Might as well grab a toy and make the best of it.
Cheerios, and cheese, and tofu...oh my!
Trying to hide
Hanging out downtown
Chasing the geese
Kevin's prize picture...I think we pissed him off.
Howdy
First flamingos
Child endangerment...looks like a pretty good snack.
Daddy?
These animals are pretty crazy!
I hate to miss a good "Researcher Photo Op"
Pooped after his big day
R.I.P: This is one of the last photo's of Ronan's beloved sun hat. During our zoo adventure, the little man took it off and threw it out of his stroller while Kevin and I were distracted by all the zoo fun. Hopefully another child found it and can enjoy it as much as we have over the past few weeks. You were a good friend to us, blue sun hat. You will be missed. On a similar note, we were out on a stroll last week and I found one of Ronan's random socks about two blocks from our house. It was crusty and dirty as though it had been there for a while. I picked it up and carried it home. Kinda poetic, no? Oh, and we found one of his toys placed on a wall by the park (a nice passer-by must have found it and placed it there). Maybe we'll find his hat at our next trip to the zoo. Perhaps a lofty dream of an optimistic mom.
