Just a few pictures from the big day.

Ha, ha...who is this crazy lady?  Ronan and Grandma don't seem so sure of each other.

Honk, Honk!

Honk, honk!  Have you heard the news?  I slept though the night for the first time last night!  I fought going down, but then slept from 8pm-6am.  Now, I am taking a ride on my Big Rig, sans pants, to celebrate.

"I ain't afraid of no ghosts!"  Well, maybe just a little:)

Some more standing pics.  Why?  Because they upset Grandma Jane so much, of course!

Kevin's Birthday Weekend

Kevin turns 32 tomorrow, so we celebrated in style this weekend with a nice walk by the river and a trip to the zoo.  We also tried the slide at the park for the first time (wih a little help from mom).  He actually seemed pretty bored by the slide...I guess he's a swing man.

Katelyn's fiance, Pat, has a childproofing company.  She told me to take a picture of Ronan doing something dangerous for his website.  The next day I walked in on this little gem...I think it qualifies.  That is the cord from his baby monitor...you know, because we want to make sure he is safe in his crib.

This he does all the time.  Grab the cord...

Now see if you can get it around your neck.

Standing strong

Starting to lose it

And we're down!

Might as well grab a toy and make the best of it.

Cheerios, and cheese, and tofu...oh my!

Chasing the geese

Kevin's prize picture...I think we pissed him off.

Child endangerment...looks like a pretty good snack.

Daddy?

These animals are pretty crazy!

I hate to miss a good "Researcher Photo Op"

Pooped after his big day

R.I.P: This is one of the last photo's of Ronan's beloved sun hat.  During our zoo adventure, the little man took it off and threw it out of his stroller while Kevin and I were distracted by all the zoo fun.  Hopefully another child found it and can enjoy it as much as we have over the past few weeks.  You were a good friend to us, blue sun hat.  You will be missed.  On a similar note, we were out on a stroll last week and I found one of Ronan's random socks about two blocks from our house.  It was crusty and dirty as though it had been there for a while.  I picked it up and carried it home.  Kinda poetic, no?  Oh, and we found one of his toys placed on a wall by the park (a nice passer-by must have found it and placed it there).  Maybe we'll find his hat at our next trip to the zoo.  Perhaps a lofty dream of an optimistic mom.

8 Months Old!

The little man is 8 months old.  Can't believe it!  He celebrated the occasion by getting his first tooth a day before his birthday.  I have been blaming every bad mood for the past five months on teething, but when the occasion finally arrived I didn't even notice a change in his mood.  I think he is already getting #2 which seems to bothering him more.  He was just chewing on a teething biscuit...and now Artie is chewing on the teething biscuit...nabbed it right out of the little guy's hand.  Ha, ha!  More milestones?  He is sitting like a champ, clapping, bounces a little to dance (if we are lucky he will inherit my sweet dance moves), and shakes his head no, no, no!  He also survived his first (and hopefully last)  fall of the bed.  Oops!  No signs of crawling yet, so I think we've still got a while before that fun begins.  Here are some of our latest pics.

Hey, I can't see!

Here I am!

Ronan and Rogan

I think Jules could totally handle two...he, he.

We call this the Limburg baby...hiding from the camera so his crib looks empty on the monitor.

Just lookin' cute...love those baby blues!

First Cheerio...not sure what to do.

Ready for some shuffle board

Dying Easter eggs with Jules and Rogan (look closely and you can see Rogan in the back with the same

Chewing on a teething biscuit.  I was a little suprised when I looked away for a moment, looked back, and half of the biscuit was gone.  He fought pretty hard as I tried to pry it out of his mouth.

The End.
