Cormac

Cormac went to his 2 month appointment today. He is 12lbs1oz (40th%) and 22inches(15%). Not too bad! Up from 6lbs6oz (15%) 19in (40%) at birth. I personally think he is gaining most of his weight in his cheeks and chin. See picture below. Cormac is really starting to interact, smiling and cooing a lot. He sleeps from about 11pm-4am and then goes back down until 6:30ish. Sleeping has much improved as for the first month of his life He would only sleep on my chest which meant I slept in a recliner in the living room for a month. It is nice to be back in my own bed! We're Baaaaaaaack!

I looked back at the old blog today to compare baby stats and was so sad that I haven't kept up on it for the past year. What a great way to go back and look at pictures of my favorite guys. Hopefully I can starting posting again with some regularity, if only for me to look back at some day. 

I guess a good place to restart is by introducing Cormac Edward McCann. He arrived two weeks early on April 3rd weighing in at 6lbs 6oz. I thought I was in labor all day, cleaned the house, half packed a bag, and then headed to work. I was in a room with a patient when I started having contractions pretty close together. Our nurse sent me home, I called the hubby and doctor and we were headed to the hospital. By the time we got there, my contractions were 2 minutes apart and it was go time. I left work at 7pm and by 10:30pm Mac had arrived!

His big brothers are both so great with him and no one can imagine life before this little man.
