Two Sick Kids

Sitting at lunch, Ronan said "Mom, I think I need to go rest." Then he put himself down for a nap on the couch. Poor sick kiddo is pretty miserable. On the plus side, I can't remember the last time he napped....strangely quiet house.

This guy didn't fare much better. Went to put a blanket on big bro and returned to find this. Strange things are afoot at the McCann house.

Mom slacking on the blog means that perhaps one of my children has been under represented on the blog. First borns have all the luck. Simon is 18 months old already! Yikes! He is still my sweet little chill guy. He loves trying to keep up with his big brother and is certainly developing his rough housing skills.  He goes with the flow most of the time but is starting to show some toddler attitude every now and again.  Here are some shots from Simon's summer.

Trip to Cleveland- first Tommy's shake!

History Museum.  This trip was inspired when Ronan told me that he thought there were dinosaur bones buried under our driveway.  He suggested that we dig them up.  When I told him I didn't think we had the tools to do that, he insisted "well, we are going to have to get a jackhammer.  I think you can get them at Lowes."  We decided checking out bones at the museum was probably a better idea.

Ronan received a gift card to Build-a-Bear from Santa. We went and made "Mr. Gee" last weekend. Mr.Gee is camoflage and smells like strawberries. There is a lot going on in one little bear.  Oh, and much to our delight, this is the song he wanted the bear to play. I don't even know who sings it(because I am old and lame), but it's pretty awesome. Especially when he sings along. 14 year old girls across the nation are swooning, I'm sure.

Winter- Catching Up

We have been having a great winter in Erie and things have been busy.  I am starting a new business in private practice and between the kiddos and getting things done from work, the blog has been sorely neglegted.  We had a great Christmas, have loved playing in the snow, and celebrated Simon's 1st birthday (today, actually.  More on that in a later post.)  Here are some pictures to catch us up.
