Swimming and More Zoo

I know.  We go to the zoo a lot, but we bought a pass, so might as well use it.  Now our pals Rogan and Jules have a pass too!

Kevin took a half day off of work so he could come see us on our last day of swimming lessons.  He took some video too, which I will have to check out and edit.  Here's our little splasher.

Jeepers Creepers

First off, I want to wish Jane and Tom a happy 40th anniversary!! It's amazing to think of all that they have shared in those 40 years, including raising two pretty outstanding children (if I do say so myself). Some kids might throw a surprise party, I write a few sentences on my blog and post a video. You're welcome. On to the main event...Ronan started creeping the other day. Someone has been hounding me for a video (you know who you are Jama, aka Jane, aka Mrs. Murphy). He is getting faster each day, and he is especially fast when he is chasing some tail (dog or cat). He has already managed to shove a piece of dog food in his mouth and screamed when I took it out. Good times. This video doesn't quite do him justice as he keeps stopping to look at the camera and look for animals. Enjoy.

9 Month Stats

Ronan went for his 9 month appt. yesterday.  Here are his measurements:

Height: 30.5 inches (97%)
Weight: 20 lbs, 7 oz (50%)
Head: 18.5 in (90%)

This is always his trend.  He continues to be long and lean with a large head.  He's like a lollipop!  Here are some cute pictures from my cell phone.  On a side note, I got a new cell phone and the man at the Verizon store was somewhat horrified when he had to transfer 360 pictures from my phone.  Apparently he didn't think Ronan is quite as cute as I do...the nerve;)  Ronan wasn't thrilled either since it took a long time.  Oops!

9 Months

Ronan turns 9 months old tomorrow!  He is such a happy, smiley, giggly little man.  He loves his dog, cat, fish, and other babies.  He squeals when he sees them and reaches to try and grab them.  These grabs are usually not very appreciated by those on the receiving end:)  He also loves going to the park, sitting in the grass, and trying to eat dandelions.  Is he crawling?  Nope. He is just starting to creep, kind of (he sort of looks like a seal/worm).  He is able to get anything he wants with a series of rolls and stretches and wriggling.  He is eating more and more finger foods.  He really loves to feed himself banana chunks, blueberry pieces, cheese, turkey, and tofu.  Kevin now calls him the "Cheerio Monster" as he would eat only cheerios and puffs if we let him.  We also officially have two teeth!  We go to the Doctor on Thursday, so I'll post his stats when I get them. 


A quick look back from his first 9 month birthday.  It's hard to beleive that he was ever this little.  Ha...he still gives me this look, as if to say "You're telling me this lady is my mom?"

We started swimming lessons last week.  Ronan loved splashing around.  He did not like going under the water...it made him cough, burp, then throw up.  Poor little guy!

We had a really nice Mother's Day weekend.  Saturday was Aunt Melissa's baby shower and Aunt Michelle's birthday party in Canton.  Ronan was able to wish both grandmas a Happy Mother's Day in person.  Here are some pics of Ronan and Cade playing.
